Welcome back beautiful people!

This week I’m sharing a super exciting post on getting THE FIRST DRAFT OF MY BOOK WRITTEN!!! It’s now been submitted to my editor Jillian at Piatkus/Little Brown, an imprint of Hachette (who you can read about here) and I can’t wait for her feedback so I can get cracking on the second draft. Writing this book, my #Mumboss manifesto has been a dream come true for me, and during what has been a pretty traumatic year for my family, in all honesty.

Behind a lot of smiles has been great heartache as a close relative has been unwell (thankfully they are on the mend, now) but as with this blog, which I started after a traumatic birth, my art: the book, saved me in so many ways.

I hope #Mumboss helps tons of parents out there who want to make blogging and vlogging a career. I want it to empower others to feel confident and informed to fire up their laptops and change their lives as blogging has for me. Equally the book supports those returning back to work after maternity leave and helping mamas rediscover their identities after kids.

I’m excited. I’m scared. But when the time comes to release my book into the world, I’m taking my own advice and GOING FOR IT BIG TIME!

Thanks so much guys for keeping me courageous.

It’s down to you lot and your incredible unwavering support (and a hell a lot of hard work) that enables me get to do what I love every day.

I will never take you guys for granted. I want to keep sharing and giving away all that I know, always.

Please, as with every week, come and link up your posts and videos, old, new and as many as you like. Please also comment on the post I’ve linked up (add my badge so others can find the party) and read and comment on lots of posts and videos linked up. Commenting is a great way to boost SEO and visibility, encouraging others to visit your own sites and leave an important digital trail in your wake.

Most of all, go have fun because life is short and must be enjoyed.

Big love,

Hi Vicky! I know I’ve already said congrats via Twitter on getting those first edits sent in. What an amazing achievement, in addition to how far you’ve already come. It’s fantastic. And the #brillblogposts link is fabulous, you’re a diamond for encouraging your followers to share. I hope you’ve managed to catch up on some sleep and slow down a little now, before you get your first lot of feedback. 🙂 x
