Welcome back to #brilliantblogposts.
Love is definitely in the air with Valentine’s Day on Sunday – ooh la la!
The saying goes that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach and this week I’m sharing a Valentine’s meal for two made of delicious items from Iceland.
Feast your eyes on this!
And that’s just one of many drool-worthy images in the post! Check out these melt in the middle chocolate puddings from Iceland!
This week I’m also linking up my post on Let’s Talk About Race, Racism & Feeling Like The ‘Other‘.
This is a post I’ve had in me for a long time but have always shied away from writing. As a technical ‘White European’, but of Cypriot heritage and ‘olive’ complexion I wasn’t sure my views were be deemed valid. I’m glad I wrote this though, the response already has affirmed it was the right thing to do.
Read it HERE.
As always, I would love to hear your feedback on both posts in the comment sections and please comment on a handful of others’ linked up, the more you can, the better.
And please do link up your posts, new, old and as many as you like – it’s one big blog lovin’ baby!

Wonderful to have you, thank you 🙂
Thank you so much for hosting!! Love it! xx
Loved reading both your posts. Totally agree that Valentine’s Day is a great excuse for a date night 🙂 And loved your piece on race. I think we should all count our blessings that we live in such a racially and culturally diverse country – our country would be a poorer place if we were all the same! x
So true thanks Eb xx
Thanks for hosting Vicki. Those chocolate puds look delicious! I used to not like chocolate and since I’ve had the kids I struggle to say no to it! I definitely wouldn’t say no to these, Iceland for the win! Lizzie xo
Yay, their puddings and whole range of food is all delicious! We’ll share a pud together when we meet up again hun x

Thank you my darlingxx
Thanks so much for hosting this comprehensive link-up Vicki. My blog’s real purpose is pro-autism, but I mix things up there – fashion, sewing, glimpses into life in Italy – to keep it interesting, and I feel that makes it too much of a hybrid for the fashion and style link-ups.
Love and gratitude,
Baci Sallyxx

I’m very excited because I’ve just linked up a post for the first time! (Having technical difficulties trying to use the HTML code but posted the Brilliant Blog Posts picture with a link underneath, hope that’s okay)
The recipe looks amazing. I’d do almost anything for chocolate!
And well done for being brave enough to post about racism. I’m so glad it has been well-received xx
Of course that’s OK and it’s wonderful to have you join, thank you so much on your comment xx
Thank you for having me 🙂 those puddings look amazing and I loved your Let’s talk about race post. People are so rude and inconsiderate and it baffles me that people still notice differences in anyone in a country so diverse! Nowhere near as relevant, but simply for having dyed hair I get stopped daily to discuss it but not in a woman to woman way, it tends to be random men asking ‘how did you do that’ ‘I’m not sure about the purple’ etc etc. Bizarre that people feel the need to stop and judge/comment. Love your posts and I don’t care if you are from Mars, Leeds (where my husband is from) or anywhere, you are just lovely 🙂 Have a good week xx
Aw Laura what a lovely comment, made me smile this morning, it is funny how people react to others based on appearance, like they have a right to question people’s choices or how they look. I remember that happening a lot when I was pregnant, suddenly it seemed I was public property. Fab your husband is from Leeds! Let me know if you visit and we can meet up x
Thank you for hosting! Love he sound of those melting in the middle puddings, have a lovely valentines day x
Thank you lovely and you xx
Thanks for hosting and have a lovely rest of the week 🙂
Thanks Sara, and you x
