Since my third child, Florence’s birth back in November 2021 I’ve used black clothes as a bit of a crutch to be honest. Lacking in body confidence, I steered mostly towards hiding myself away as much as possible. When I wore the odd pop of colour or prints during that time, I felt more self conscious but equally like my old self, someone who’d always gravitated towards striking statement pieces which matched my positive outlook on life!
This summer, 19 months on, I’m (finally) embracing bold hues once again. I’m not 100 percent body confident (who is?!) with a way to go to resembling anything like my pre baby body but I’m at peace with how I look right now and I feel ready to come out of hiding (with a bang)!
Thanks to Phase Eight and their statement lime and pink frocks, I’m feeling a little bit fabulous-and more myself-and I don’t state that lightly. It’s been quite the ride having a baby five days before turning 41!
So, thank you Phase Eight for these corkers and of course the leather clogs I’m in love with too. I think this Mama has got her mojo back.
Excitingly, you can win £150 to spend on Phase Eight over on my Insta handle HERE (competition ends on July 4th). Good luck.
The pieces were gifted.
