Autumnal Days

Autumnal Days

baby boy

Autumn is my most loved season. I heart you Autumn. This much. *makes huge hands.

This is what Autumn means to me:

Red russet leaves dancing from the trees.
Conkers pickling in vinegar toughening up to fight.
Broken twigs and golden leaves collected for collages that would make Mister Maker proud.
Green & Blacks hot chocolate sipped from flowery mugs.
Sweet peas still climbing on a frame. A few delicate stems in a vase, placed by my bed.
Autumn/Winter fashion: a bright red Zara coat.
Christmas movies out too soon as I chomp popcorn made in a pan.
Oliver dressing himself preferring Thomas the Tank Engine pj’s to anything else.
Alexander snuggled in the cutest spotty outfit and blanket from the Essential One.
Smokey eyes, hot red lips, hair long and straight.
Fire on, nursing the baby until late.
Halloween, jumping in puddles, costume dramas on the BBC. This is what Autumn means to me.
Oh Autumn I shall miss you when you’re gone.
What does Autumn mean to you?

Essential One sent us beautiful clothes for Alexander including the outfit and blanket above. I loved the pieces so much, I went on to buy more of their range.
