Last week I was invited to attend catwalk show of the renowned Korean designer Eudon Choi at London Fashion Week.
Naturally, it’s every fashionistas dream to attend Fashion Week and I had such a crazy, beautiful whirlwind of a weekend in London, combining the show with important client meetings, top secret filming (all to be revealed soon…), an inspiring Women in Media Breakfast, hosted by friend Michelle Collins (whom I’ve directed in several films), a restaurant review of French bistro Aubaine, and catching up with some of my closest and most kick-ass friends in the world!
Phew! I’m exhausted just remembering it all!
I was actually invited to attend LFW last year too but couldn’t make it due to other work commitments, so when I received my invite this year, I kept my diary clear.
And wow…what an experience! LFW was every I imagined and some…!
I’ve attended film festivals all over the world from Cannes to Berlin to LA and I love the buzz you get from collective experiences, where the industry’s most creative talent comes together to share knowledge, innovate and spark new projects. It’s truly inspiring.
But first things first… my LFW outfit-
With ‘Horti-Couture’ all the rage, I opted for this bang on trend Max Mara floral cardigan, worked over this feminine, lace dress c/o Kaliko in the most STUNNING azure shade.
Well a gal’s gotta stand out on the FROW 😉
All right, Mr. DeMille, I’m ready for my close–up
I was so touched several people asked if I was a model at LFW! I wish!
And what I can say about the Eudon Choi SS16 collection other than…WOW!
The collection was simply mesmerising. Full of clean lines and neutral tones with the odd pop of pink and baby blue. Pastels are the ‘it’ shade for this autumn and beyond.
Simplicity has never been so stylish.
Being LFW the Brewer St carpark was naturally packed to the rafters with fashion’s finest.
There was the uber stunning Amber Le Bon who I caught outside.
A pouting MIC crew
And the legendary supermodel, Erin O’Connor, who kindly stopped by for a quick chat.
Incredibly humble and so sweet, we chatted fashion, blogging and babies! I actually directed a film for her fashion designer friend Hannah Marshall for LFW years ago-small world!
Such an amazing and inspiring day! All I can say is bring on LFW AW16!
