Alexander Turns 11

I mean you shouldn’t have favourite kids but (haha)…Kidding!! Alexander, my middle child, who turns 11 today, is definitely in my top three that’s for sure,  and he’s always been my shadow, always! The most caring and attentive big brother to his little best friend, Florence, this one’s either got his head stuck in a book, he’s playing football (with serious skill) whatever the weather or he’s playing with his sis!

He dreams of playing for Leeds United one day (like many kids in Yorkshire) and I hope he realises his ambition!

A laugh-maker, joy-bringer, caring old soul, Mummy’s boy (in the best way possible), hilariously funny to his core, to know Xander really is to love Xander. He makes friends everywhere he goes and lights up every room he enters with that big grin of his and those warm, kind eyes! Our little philosopher, I love his wise observations and clever counsel to his friends and siblings and the way he makes everyone around him feel so safe and valued, he really is one special boy/ young man.

Anyone have a time machine please? My kids are growing up too quickly!
