5 Things Which Helped Me Conceive A Girl After 2 Boys

Gender disappointment can feel taboo and truthfully I would have personbally been delighted with a third son but when my husband finally agreed to try for a baby, I hoped to experience having a daughter so read everything I could find to up my chances and below I share some ‘hacks’ which I believe helped me achieve my dream! I hope they help you too!

  1. I read and followed the advice within the bestselling book, ‘The Babydust Method: A Guide to Conceiving a Girl or a Boy‘ by Kathryn Taylor, which provides insight into natural same sex selection, based on the latest scientific evidence. It reveals the flaws in the Shettles method, O+12, egg polarity, pH, and acidic/alkaline/ion diets, and offers a new approach involving a combination of precise timing and frequency that has been proven to work based on several published clinical studies. Others I know also followed Kathryn’s advice-but for a boy- which also worked.
  2. I changed my diet, focusing on calcium and magnesium so leafy greens, beans and lots of dairy. Whilst there’s no evidence, I read advice online which supported this approach. I also limited salt and meat which is said to be best for conceiving a boy.
  3. To conceive either gender I took the following supplements: Inositol, Vitamin D, Coenzyme Q10 and iron to help my reproductive health. Ensure you do this for at least 3 months before trying to conceive.
  4. Manifested, prayed and believed I would have a daughter. I created a private Pinterest board of baby girl clothes and found my own  embroided baby nightie that my Mum kept for me and trusted my daughter would one day wear it-and she did!
  5. I didn’t give up. Despite a devastating missed miscarriage, we tried again when the doctors advised we could (after 1 cycle passed) and we got pregnant first time. Fortune favours the bold. I feel so lucky to have my much-wanted and loved sons and now my beloved daughter, Florence!

I hope this helps you!!
