As women, born, raised and living in the Western world we are so incredibly fortunate. A fact many of us take for granted - I know I do. It's incredibly easy to get caught up in our so called 'First World Problems'. Traffic jams, broken boilers and impending deadlines all pale into insignificance compared to many womens' lives in the developing world, for whom war, poverty and disease is a daily reality. Today (Oct 2nd) is World Smile Day, a day coined by Harvey Ball - the creator of the iconic smiley face no less! Last week saw 'part' of this family spend 7 days in Marbella, staying at the palatial Casa Haniel, a James Villa Holidays' villa in San Pedro, above, for a fabulous, relaxing, fun and invigorating week away.
This weekend was gushingly one where I literally kept thinking, 'Wow I'm so happy, I'm so lucky'...stick with me...You see we are all so busy rushing around aren't we, running from here to there, working, hustling, multi-juggling that these last few days went by a bit slowly in comparison and allowed me to truly take stock.

So, as you've gathered from the title of this post, I've continued to merge my blogging and modelling career (the latter borne from the former!) which still makes me pinch myself by the way, and have been signed as the face of beautiful boutique baby and maternity wear brand The Essential One!
Juliet is a GP, mum to three children and a health writer. She also has her own running club, runs marathons and fundraises for charity. With a regular column in Women’s Running, a growing online following and plans for a book, Juliet is one inspiring, wonderful woman.
