The most wonderful birthday.
I speak at BritMums Live.
Our first two weeks in Windsor.
Do you know the ingredients to a perfect day? Well, I do *smug face.
Claire Charlton (pre, post-natal and baby massage specialist) met Lesley Gilchrist (practising midwife, media midwifery expert and ‘One Born Every Minute’ TV personality) whilst looking for a more positive birth experience with her second child...
So half term was part 'chill out' time and part 'let's start prepping for our move down south'. We won't move until the summer and whilst I lived in London for 11 years before relocating back when Oliver was 1, it feels like quite a big move as we have two kids now.
This post is a bit of fun, people. Obviously I wouldn't change my procreating ways for the world. My boys are my world and life is enriched, funnier and more fun because of those bambinos... But sometimes, sometimes I miss the more selfish, carefree pre-kid days I enjoyed and thought you guys might relate too.
Last Thursday was a delicious whirlwind of a day in London-and a 7 hour round trip too, (one of the reasons we're officially moving back down South to the outskirts of London, from Yorkshire later this year) but one that was worthwhile, nonetheless as it was spent having delicious fun with amazeballs people.
If you're having a rubbish day today firstly I'm sorry and secondly, I hope you stumble across this post and feel less alone.
Last weekend saw me head down to London for an afternoon of nostalgia and partying at The 90s Brunch (a pop up brunch) to celebrate my BBFF's (that's Best Blogging Friend Forever) Lela London's birthday!

Saturday night was a complete whirlwind as twenty of my friends gathered at my brother's beautiful Italian restaurant Giorgio's in Rodley for fab Italian food, bubbles and a delicious two-tiered chocolate birthday cake. If you're going to do it, you might as well do it right, hey?!
'Motherhood is hard sometimes, especially when other women seem so much better at it than you'.
So, the third and final instalment of 'Things I've Learnt on Holiday with Kids...' is here because well, the holidays are nearly over and it's time to reflect again amigos so here goes...
It's not often you receive an invitation to attend a premiere at Kensington Palace and yet that's exactly what happened to me just last week. A blogger's life is never short of surprises that is for sure!
Sunday saw us head to one of my brother's Italian restaurants: Giorgio's set in a gorgeous listed building in Rodley, Leeds for an epic three course feast.
Last week Oliver and I were in London to meet a Mr Jamie Oliver (which was ah-mazing btw), and before our food workshop with him, we headed to Romeo's Sugar Free Bakery to meet my gorgeous friend Lucy, a PR at Red.
