It's safe to say we're a little bit obsessed with smoothies, guzzling them, and also and styling them up for pretty posts pre-slurping of course.
We love a posh fish finger sandwich here- tasty, filling, oh so moorish- oozing with that tangy tartare sauce, it really hits the spot. The perfect fare for a lazy weekend brunch and one of these ciabatta hunks with a cup of Rooibos tea and the Sunday Times really makes me happy.
Simple, bold and bursting with fresh flavours, bruschetta can be made with any thick bread you like including the gluten-free variety (we like Delicious Alchemy mixes) although this was made with a sourdough sun dried tomato & olive bread.
Following a low-GI, mostly gluten-free diet can be expensive as gluten-free products often cost twice as much as their wheat-laden counterparts, so I like to make a lot of my own recipes, especially treats like chocolate cake, below.
We're gluten-free monsters here, the lot of us, as are many of you too it seems, be it because of allergies, or simply to lead a healthier lifestyle-wheat really isn't terribly good for any of us really.
