The fabulous folks at Whistle & Wolf gifted me this glorious happy-making tropical neon floral dress and I decided to rock it for date night last week. Silky soft with the most captivating print, this flowery frock is also ideal for weddings, christenings, parties and cocktails al fresco at sun set (can you tell I'm romantic at heart?)
So last night I mentioned on social media that I often feel I'm just playing Mummies and Daddies, that I look at my cute kids then question whose they are-you see deep down I still feel 16. OK make that 18. Thankfully from the response I got online, it seems I'm not alone...
Breaking driving myths with Michelin... Yep that's me right there (above), albeit a more cartoon looking, blonder more Caucasian version of me but nonetheless like the lady above, I'm blindly believing urban driving myths as she is. Safety and saving mo...
I get it, macarons are all about the almond flour but sadly in my world, nuts truly hate me so post-Cannes and lusting after these delicate beauties above, I simply had to find a way to recreate my own nut-free versions taking inspiration online and finding a recipe that would work for my family and I.
I'm recently back and just about recovered from, an incredible time at the Cannes Film Festival. If you missed my post all about the films, fashion and general fabulosity (that's a word, right?) of the fest, you can read it HERE. Truly exquisite food and films were consumed during my time there along with the most glamorous parties I've been to and this was my third and so far most favourite time at the festival.
We feel truly lucky to have had quite a few fabulous, memorable holidays both here or abroad since the kids have come along mostly in Europe and the Med with some closer to home in Yorkshire and Wales. Long haul flights pre kids have taken a back seat but fun and often lots of sun has never been compromised (not counting our holidays to Wales)!
My child's Pre-School has two weeks off for October half term but instead of flying to South Africa ourselves to visit my husband's parents, we flew them over to Leeds so they could meet baby Alexander for the first time and have a holiday overseas themselves! It's been wonderful seeing them again and they've fallen head over heels with Baby A and relished in seeing their first grandchild Oliver again.
I adore Berlin and those who follow this blog know that I'm a filmmaker (a writer/director) and luckily visit film festivals regularly.
Not The One (below), one but the one your partner/husband/friend with benefits has agreed if you ever meet (which is extremely unlikely) you can -' you know with' or I don't know, at least kiss.
Just over a week ago, (yes it's taken me that long to write this)- I won an award! *Jumps in the air Rocky style at the memory. It was for the Square Mile 30 Under 30 London Talent Awards to be exact and I won my category: Media, Entertainment and the Arts.
