Claire and I-Honest MumMy fabulous friend Claire invited us along to the preview of Stockeld’s Park’s Summer Adventure a week ago, to enjoy a day and evening of super summery fun for all the family!

I took my Mum too (pre breaking her foot tripping over a basket at home-poor thing) and kids of course- Oliver, 4 and Alexander, 21 months.

Family-Honest Mum

We’re often invited by PR’s to attend family events, but never before on our doorstep, so it was lovely to scoot out the house and into Stockeld Park, a mere ten minutes from where we live in Wetherby, Yorkshire.

Vicki-Honest Mum

Stockeld Park is a privately owned, 2000-acre agricultural estate made up of farming land and Yorkshire’s largest Christmas tree plantation which is made open to the public for a lot of the year with specially themed seasons-February Fun, Easter, Summer, Halloween and Christmas-we enjoyed the Christmas Adventure last year for festive strolls in the forest and gifts from their shop!

But back to now, summer time and a day in the glorious Yorkshire sunshine…

And Alexander was straight on the wooden toy tractor (after me of course)!

Tractor-Honest Mum

tractor-Honest MumTrue to its name, you’re most definitely guaranteed an adventure at Stockeld Park-bursting with joyous play zones within the fairytale-esque woodland on site, you’re seriously spoilt for choice on what to do…

Stockeld Park

With an outdoor roller rink, maze, go karts, inflatable areas with huge slides and a jumping pillow (we found ourselves slightly obsessed with), an electric scooter trail and of course the chance to explore, climb and play in their famous Enchanted Forest, we literally had hours of fun there!

My go-karter extraordinaire!

Go Kart-Oliver

I was pretty impressed that Oliver, 4, drove his go kart solo (for the first time and with such confidence) and even my toddler Alexander enjoyed having a ride with my Mum at the wheel so I could snap away!

With a BBQ put on for us and sunshine which stayed put, it was a perfect summer’s day out! Thanks guys!

We can’t wait to return again (I need another go on that slide!)
