Yay for post-Christmas sales and beautifully bodacious bargains. Yep I went there with ‘bodacious’ as if it’s the 80’s.
Those who follow my blog or social platforms, resolutely know what a Topshop obsessive I am with most snaps on Insta sharing at least one piece from one of my most favourite stores.
From pretty floral tea dresses to sparkly LBDs and ‘wear, whether you hit the gym or not’ sportswear, on trend-boots, and even snuggly Pjs, Topshop is my biggest bae on the high street-no one else compares. It’s a store that’s grown and evolved with me, a shop I grew up with and made memories in (spending my pocket money on denim hot pants as a teen, my student loan during my uni days in London with weekends whiled away on Oxford Street, and now of course, using up most of my income as a fully fledged grown up blogger person and mum of two..
There’s nothing I don’t love about Toppers! Can you tell?
Let me also state right now that I never understand when friends say they think Topshop feels too young for them. My own glam Mum shops there and unlike some other high street stores, TS always feels completely ageless to me. There’s lots for all ages and something for everyone from the Tall and Petite collections to maternity and beyond.
Plus a life without my skinny Jamie or Jono jeans doesn’t bare thinking about. I’ve tried every other shop/label imaginable from designer to other high street stores and nothing compares to the fit and quality of those bad boys. Nada. The two Js hold me in and hug my hourglass figure, changing the way I felt about jeans forever. I went from never wearing them to rocking them several times a week.
When it comes to statement jewellery too, TS always has your back. My favourite, huge dazzling blue hoops (they need to be big with my locks) are from the store and bring all the compliments to my yard…My fave clutches, denim jacket and fluffy hat with a bobble on, are all Topshop beauties too.
But let me stop waffling on now (the longest love letter to a shop, ever) because if I give you a rundown of everything I’ve ever bought there, you’d fall into one heck of a deep sleep, drained and in desperate need of those 30 minutes of lost life, back.
..I’ll be honest though and tell you I was checking my bank statement the other day, reflecting on a year’s spend (don’t do it, people, it’s painful) and Topshop came up so much, I think I might have a TS problem.
Thankfully, this post features lots of sales items (half price now-yay) that I’ve got my eye on so it’s pretty much guilt-free lusting, plus one of my lucky readers is going to head off into the sunset aka Oxford Street with £50 to spend.
Now, go get some style inspo
TALL Leopard Print Coat, £40 (was £85)

Topshop Low Back Velvet Skater Dress, £15 (was £32)
I have a similar black version of this dress from Next I got this winter and now need this dusted pink version in my life for spring. What a bargain too.
NIKITA Buckle Sandals, £25 (was £59)
Forward-thinking fashionistas will know that the January sales are perfect for picking up pieces for your spring/summer wardrobe and while it might be a bit too chilly to expose your tootsies at the moment, these chunky buckled sandals are perfect for when the warmer weather sets in. Pair these chunky, buckled sandals with a delicate floral dress to give your look a rock ‘n’ roll edge.
Fishnet Braid Trim Midi Dress, £40 (was £89)
A gal can never have too many LBD’s in her life…FACT! And especially when they’re as gorgeous as this midi-dress! I love the juxtaposition of the contemporary fishnet design with the classic shift dress cut. It’s one of those dresses you can wear from desk to cocktails with ease. Perfect for NYE too. Swoon.
MATERNITY Star Pyjama Shirt, £36
This selection goes out to all the mamas-to-be reading this. It’s often difficult to keep your style ‘on fleek’ when with bump, but Topshop’s maternity range is renowned for its stylish – yet comfortable – clothing and this PJ style shirt is everything.
Relaxed Trench Coat, £79
2017 is the year of the trench coat, but this time round it’s all about slouchy cuts and big buckles. This oh so chic Topshop coat is a purse-friendly alternative to the Burberry and Aquascutum macs. Buy it, you won’t regret it.
“I” Low-Rise Ankle Leggings by Ivy Park, £40
I’m sure I’m not the only one planning on new fitness regime in the new year having indulged in waaaaaay too much cheese over Christmas! Well, this January I intend to slay like Beyonce in her sportwear label, Ivy Park. These leggings aren’t just stylish – they’re also quick drying, supportive and durable and after not being convinced about her snakeskin style purple ones, I’m going safe and opting for flattering black this time.

When it comes to high heels I have 2 rules, the higher and brighter, the better and these stunning slingbacks tick both those boxes! A guaranteed compliment generator, pair with a LBD and statement bag for added wow factor, go shine, sisters!
