Honest Mum is a Herbal Essences bio:renew

I feel incredibly proud to be an ambassador for Herbal Essences (my hair feels stronger, healthier and glossier than ever) and their #letlifein theme truly resonates with me, right now.

Moving to Windsor with my husband and two kids from Yorkshire was a bold move, and I won’t lie (Honest Mum, hey), I was pretty anxious about it on the run-up. Change is scary.

I know that pushing myself out of my comfort zone will always feel a little frightening -it’s the unknown right-but in this case (and many other times I’ve stretched myself), it’s paid off ten-fold. The kids are incredibly happy and settled already, and despite only being a few weeks in, my life has improved 18647956 x as my commute to London is now just 30 minutes by train, rather than the 7 hour round-trip it was before.

Honest Mum

I miss my family and friends back in Yorkshire madly (thank goodness for FaceTime) but thankfully I have friends who live close by and many in London, plus I’ve never felt so welcome. Readers have approached me on the street to welcome me to Windsor and I’ve received so many sweet messages on social media and via email, I’ve not had a chance to feel lonely yet. Thank you to everyone.

It’s also incredibly beautiful here and living in the centre of Windsor means culture, shopping and amazing restaurants are on our doorstep so we currently feel as if we’re on holiday! I’m sure once school starts for the kids and routine kicks in, life will find a new normal but we’re so glad we embraced change and let adventure in!

As part of Herbal Essences’ #letadventurein campaign, I’ve created a vlog below sharing our new life and also how my hair reflects my personality and mood. Having a good hair day is always a huge confidence boost to me, making me feel my sassiest self.

Thanks to Herbal Essences NEW bio:renew range, in particular, the Golden Moringa Oil shampoo and conditioner my hair feels and looks healthier with every wash.

Histidine, a natural purifier in the body, is the core building block of the Herbal Essences bio:renew ingredient blend, which also contains Sea Kelp and Aloe. These amazing ingredients help remove the build-up of free radicals and revive dull, lifeless hair every time you use them.

You can buy the range at Asda and other supermarkets.

I hope you like my film.

To celebrate my collaboration with Herbal Essences, I am also giving away the entire Herbal Essences bio: renew collection (7 shampoos and 7 conditioners) worth £84.

UK only.

No cash alternative.

Ends 3rd October 2017.

If the winner does not reply within 7 days, a new winner will be chosen randomly.

Good luck!

I’d love to read about how you’ve let adventure in, in the comments,

Wishing you all good hair days, every day!

This is a sponsored campaign and role, but as always, my opinions and words are honest.

Wow, a 30-minute commute must feel like HEAVEN after dealing with a 7-HOUR round trip! I can’t even wrap my brain around THAT. I love Herbal Essences: their products are like pure aromatherapy when I’m in the shower. It certainly seems to work for you: what gorgeous hair!

My thyroid doesn’t work anymore and the first thing to suffer is the hair. It’s very hard to keep it healthy and shiny. This would be an amazing help.

I’m at the age (mid 40s) where I think the hormonal changes are starting to reek havoc with my hair, it is starting to thin around the face and is a bit dull and dry in texture, this would help kick it back into shape and combat the winter month effects on it.
