I’m writing this week’s Brilliant Blog Posts with a HUGE smile on my face after one of the most magical yet emotional weeks of my life as my baby brother got married at the weekend and then my own baby, Xander, turned 4 on Tuesday.

Let’s just say there’s been tears…lots of tears.

I was the proudest sister in the whole world watching Sol marry the love of his life, Lucy. It was one of the those fairytale weddings all little girls dream of and my new sister-in-law looked simply stunning on the day!

And look at my two little cuties in their matching Paige Boy outfits! Huge thank you to Nicki Macfarlane for designing them. Nicki designed the Duchess of Cambridge’s young bridesmaid dresses and it was an honoured for the boys to wear her exquisite designs.

I’ll be blogging about their big day very soon, as well as Xander’s 4th birthday which we spent at The National Railway Museum in York.

I can’t believe my little baby is all grown up, although I’m so utterly proud of the loving, thoughtful and hilarious person he is becoming. Oh oh…I feel the tears coming back!

On that note, it’s back to Brilliant Blog Posts and this week I’m sharing our Wonderful Family Break At The Royal Garden Hotel in London.

Big thank you to Swedish brand me&i for the gorgeous kids’ pieces keeping the kids stylish on our break.

Kid friendly hotels in London

We stayed at the Royal Garden Hotel when we returned from our incredible trip to the South of France. After a week of sea, sun and relaxation, it was the perfect way to ease ourselves back into the real world.

This 5 star hotel – yup folks…kids and luxury are compatible – is literally one of the most stylish hotels I’ve stayed at with the most attentive service and delicious food. Head to my review to read all about it!

Your boys look gorgeous! I can completely relate to your emotional week – at the start of this month my eldest started school and my sister got married all in the space of four days! Very emotional, and wonderful too!

I think it’s a great idea to have a special family occasion coincide with a family birthday. It somehow adds even more sparkle to that time of year.
