brilliant blog posts-Honest Mum

Welcome to the latest Brilliant Blog Posts folks and apologies it’s late by 24 hours but I was hanging out with the incredibly Dawn O’Porter last night but more of that next week!

Thanks for your patience and do link up today!

This week I’m sharing a post on a subject that I get asked about a lot – self-esteem!

mum boss

I’m regularly sent emails and messages from readers and my fellow #mumbosses asking how I’ve gotten to a place where I consistently feel confident.

The truth is that no-one, apart from Donald Trump it seems, feels confident 100% of the time. And let’s face it…no one wants to be like DT!

Self-doubt is totally normal and common.  Some mornings I’ll wake up with crippling self-doubt thanks to my ol’ friend PMT and after the traumatic birth of my eldest son, Oliver, my confidence literally hit rock bottom but confidence is accumulated through the practice of acting confident. Go check out my top 6 tips to boost self-esteem linked up!

I’d also love to hear your own tips on how to boost self-esteem in the comments!

And for all you foodies, I’m sharing a Teriyaki Beef mini roast recipe with Simply Beef and Lamb, I’d love you to check out.

And as it’s Brilliant Blog Posts make sure you share your own posts below and don’t forget to comment on my posts and others linked up.

Thanks for making this such a successful and busy link up!

See you there x

Love this Vicki! You definitely should have all the confidence in the world – you’re so inspiring! I think my self-esteem tip would be to get out of the house and move more. If we’re in too much you just view the world via social media rather than reality. Also i know that exercise gives me a confidence boost mentally and physically xx

Thanks lovely, you’re inspiring yourself, so true, exercise makes a huge difference to outlook and wellbeing as does eating well. So right about getting out, it can be so hard too in the early days and months of motherhood x
