Hey guys and welcome back to #Brilliantblogposts.

I had the toughest day of my life yesterday as we laid my beautiful auntie to rest so I’m being kind to myself and taking things easy.

It’s half-term so the kids and I are spending lots of quality time together and they’ve really proved to be towering support to me. I always thought it was my job to offer strength and love to my kids but both boys aged 7 and 5 have shown me so much care and consideration. Xander keeps showering me with kisses and Oliver stroked my hair unprompted as we drove back from Manchester last night. Bless them.

This week I’m sharing an upbeat post about our experience at BRGR.CO that was all about juicy burgers and a Ricky Martin party in the toilet (don’t miss it)!

I agree that in such moments when we think we should be providing a shoulder to lean on, it’s nice to just let go and be. Accepting kindness and receiving love from others. The heart will heal in its own time. You are so loved. PS Voted xx
