Well hello there lovely people, from our new abode in Windsor, where we moved two days ago! I’m typing this post surrounded by boxes holding our entire lives, with heavy eyes, ready for slumber!

Honest Mum and family move to Windsor

We are incredibly happy to be here, living in the centre of Windsor with the Queen (!) for a neighbour (the kids keep asking when we’ll be visiting for tea) but I’m equally missing my folks and close friends back in Leeds. It’s a bitter sweet move but it feels 100% right and with so much of my work in London and easy access here, and it’s always been one of our most favourite towns. Peter and I met in London during the uni years and moved back to Yorkshire when Oliver was 1. Almost 7 years later, we are going with our gut and embarking on a new adventure!

We’ve let our house out to a lovely tenant who has promised to look after it as his own and we’ll be visiting friends and family regularly.

I’ll write a much longer post on the move soon but for now I’m linking up two pieces below, the first is a campaign post where I share my Starting School Tips with LeapFrog and I’ve also included my piece on 5 Ways to Overcome Writer’s Block.

As always, please link up your posts and videos, old, new and as many as you like and I’d love you to comment on one of my pieces linked up.

Thanks guys for all your continued love and support. All the comments and messages on social media on our move, have honestly warmed my heart. I could never feel lonely with you guys in my phone.

Speak soon x

Excited for you for this new chapter as you go from strength to strength Vicki, of course it’ll be hard in the short term but you’ll soon be settled and I’m delighted you’re now only a short train ride away from me! 🙂 You were just fab on TV – such a natural! And I’m with you, it’s “mummy” or “mum” all the way!! x

How exciting, I can’t wait to read all about your move. You are near my old neck of the woods, I still have a load of friends and family in the area there! Next time I am down for a visit we will have to get together 🙂
