brilliant blog posts-Honest Mum

Bonjour mes amis! Thanks for linking up last week folks and for all your lovely comments. This week I have another piece inspired by our Southern French holiday and it’s the lessons learnt in Cannes. Don’t miss it!

We’ve had a dreamy holiday here so far, there are not enough love/ smiley emojis to visually illustrate how flipping ah-mazing it’s been and the trip isn’t over yet as we head back to Avignon for our last day before four days in London to end the mother of all holidays. Yay for quality time with the kids in the sunshine and a chance to chill out.

Feeling full-hearted and grateful for the memories.

Vicki I’d intended to have watched the first episode of Victoria by Friday last week so I could comment telling you what I thought of it… Didn’t get the time in the end and only got round to it yesterday – I binge-watched the first three episodes one after another!

So the fact the I watched all three in a row means that yes, I agree with you – it was fantastic. Didn’t hurt having dreamy Rufus Sewell in it, I must admit…!!!!!

Hope your holiday’s been glorious 🙂

Cannes looks amazing! I’ll suggest it to the husband for next year 😉 We usually go to Paris once a year and that’s very expensive but some places are worth every Euro 🙂

Oh it just looks magical, so glad you had a good time. We watched Victoria Sunday & Monday. Hooked now. Big dilemma for this Sunday – which to watch and which to record out of Poldark and Victoria!!

Thanks for the link up Vicki – I had to do a double take of that ocean liner in your first photo! Blimey what a whopper, they really are incredible when you see the scale like this. Fantastic pics!
I haven’t been to Cannes since before I had children although that’s not the reason. xxx

I think you’re onto something here with Cannes being a good holiday destination for children! I hadn’t thought of it as being quite so child-friendly, but you are so right about all the benefits for children there. Also, this Victoria series looks amazing… I’m always a sucker for a good period drama. xx
