This is an essential list I feel have been life-changers for me. No, not the obvious: children, partners, friends, career etc but a list of the essentials JUST FOR ME: the things that have helped my health, well being and happiness.
I've got a somewhat turbulent relationship with swimming if I'm honest. Like so many awkward adolescent girls growing up, I dreaded school swimming lessons and resorted to that old friend, or enemy as is often the case: my period, most weeks as a get out clause. I also had good reason.
Something strange has happened. Something drastic, mind boggling, deeply upsetting (well for me anyway, not for my husband). My (actively encouraged) Mummy's Boy has become a Daddy's Boy.
